My secret life as a cat

I crept out the back.

To show them a bit of slack.

Now I shall attack!

Now I creep past fellows…

I shall now bellow!

How dare you approach me.

I now rest beyond.

Sadly, I have no more bond…

Can this be the end?

They put up a fight.

Why is it so light and bright?

A torch shall be shown.

My cover is blown!

I try to jump, pounce, and run.

What a rubbish pun…

Now I rest at home.

I sleep under the sofa.

Do I go again…?

This is my twelve year olds Haiku – 5, 7, 5 poetry. I loved it so much that I have shared it here.  Hope you enjoy it too!
